Adrienne Su, Professor of Creative Writing and Poet-in-Residence, Dickinson College,

Adrienne Su is the author of five books of poems, most recently Peach State (2021), which focuses on her hometown of Atlanta since the mid-twentieth century, with a focus on Chinese-American food. Her poems appear in many anthologies, including Border Lines: Poems of Migration, The Hungry Ear: Poems of Food & Drink, Asian American Poetry: The Next Generation, Vinegar & Char: Verse from the Southern Foodways Alliance, Children of Grass: A Portrait of American Poetry, and five volumes of Best American Poetry. Su's previous books are Living Quarters (2015), Having None of It (2009), Sanctuary (2006), and Middle Kingdom (1997). Her accolades include residencies at Yaddo, MacDowell, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and the Virginia Center for Creative Arts, as well as fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Money for Women/Barbara Deming Memorial Fund. Since 2000, she has taught at Dickinson College, where she is poet-in-residence and professor of creative writing. A dedicated home cook and community-supported-agriculture subscriber, she teaches "Writing about Food" as well as the occasional unofficial cooking class. Recent poems appear in The Common, Crab Creek Review, The Georgia Review, Literature and Belief, Poetry, Prairie Schooner, and The Woven Tale Press.
