It's the late 1950s, and in an affluent part of Buenos Aires, young Sulamit strikes up a friendship with her next-door neighbor Friedrich.She is the daughter of German-Jewish immigrants to Argentina who escaped the holocaust, he is the son of a senior SS officer. He goes back to Germany to find out more about his background and with the 60s events becomes politically radicalized Both will struggle to escape their political inheritance over the next three decades. There is growing passion and love in Germany and in Argentina. A story of love trapped by the course of history.
