Scott Soames, Distinguished Professor and Director of the School of Philosophy, University of Southern California,

Bas van Fraassen, Distinguished Professor of Philosophy, San Francisco State University; and McCosh Professor of Philosophy, Emeritus, Princeton University,

Caltech will host the 42^nd annual meeting of the Society for Exact Philosophy (SEP), June 22-24. The Society for Exact Philosophy is an international scholarly association, founded in 1970, to provide sustained discussion among researchers who believe that rigorous methods have a place in philosophical investigations. Christopher Hitchcock (Professor of Philosophy, Caltech) is the current president.

The meeting is being held in conjunction with the 11^th annual Formal Epistemology Workshop (FEW), which will be hosted at USC on June 20 and 21. On Sunday, June 22, Caltech will host a joint plenary session of both societies. For more information on FEW, please click here.
