The Caltech Program in Visual Culture was established in 2019 as a collaboration with The Huntington under a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The program features an undergraduate minor in visual culture, postdoctoral teaching fellowships, visiting artists, and a wide range of programming activities—with the aim of fostering conversations not only among humanists but also between humanists and scientists.
