Japan Internship Program

Note: This program is for current Caltech undergraduate and graduate students only.

UPDATE: The Japan Internship Program has been cancelled for Summer 2023.

The Japan Internship Program (JIP) pairs Caltech student-scholars with Japanese company researchers to collaborate on industrial projects. Over the course of their summer break, participating students have the opportunity to experience Japanese culture in a business environment as well as in day-to-day life. Each year, an information seminar is held in October. It provides interested students a better understanding of the program, a review of the application process, and first-hand experiences from the previous summer's interns. Read more about the JIP in the brochure.

The information seminar for the (canceled) summer 2020 session was held on Friday, October 11, 2019. Click here to view the flyer.
