It is with pleasure that we announce the appointment of Peter C. Ordeshook as the Mary Stillman Harkness Professor of Political Science. Peter has not only made important contributions in developing formal political theory and the comparative study of constitutional design, but has made important contributions to development of the social science program at Caltech.
