Invitation for Applications: Assistant Professor of American Social History

The Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level, beginning fall 2014. Appropriate specialties include social science history, race relations, women, demography, or politics, in any period of American History. We are seeking highly qualified candidates who are committed to a career in research and teaching. The term of initial appointment is normally four years, and is contingent upon completion of the Ph.D.
