Caltech-Japan Internship Program

Program Description

_{Note: This program is for current Caltech students only.}

The Japan Internship Program (JIP) pairs student-scholars with Japanese company researchers to collaborate on industrial projects. Students will also have the opportunity to experience Japanese culture in a business environment as well as in day to day life.

Internship Term: Approximately 2.5 months during the summer.

Information Seminar: Each year a general information seminar is held in October. Students who have just returned from their summer internships in Japan present slides about their experience and the application process for the following year is discussed.
