Background
I am a native New Englander from the quiet colonial town of Acton, Massachusetts, where I attended Acton-Boxborough Regional High School along with both of my siblings. My brother is currently a GI doctor and my sister is a dentist.Ancestry
I am Taiwanese-American. My parents were born and raised in Taiwan and came to the States in the 70s to pursue their Master's degrees. My maternal grandfather was a fisherman and escaped with his family to Taiwan during the Chinese Civil War. Prior to this, they endured several tragedies during the Japanese occupation of China. My paternal grandfather was a politician in Chiang Kai-Shek's Kuomintang party; his father supported Dr. Sun Yat-Sen in the Revolution of 1911 and was murdered by the Communist Party during the Chinese Civil War.Pop Psychology
